Future Society Design Program Future Society Design Program  &＃8211; Past Programs Environmental Stress Response and Survival Strategy of Human Being Program Theme Keap1&＃8211;Nrf2 system plays important roles in cytoprotection on environmental stress response. By elucidating the regulatory mechanisms of Keap1&＃8211;Nrf2 system, we could propose survival strategy of human being. We have been organizing a series of “The Environmental Response Symposium”, focused on the KEAP1&＃8211;NRF2 system, in Japan once every few years. It has been 3 years since the last Environmental Response V Symposium. In the intervening period, we have seen many interesting developments in the KEAP1&＃8211;NRF2 field. The purpose of the symposium is to exchange and discuss the most recent cutting&＃8211;edge research in the field of KEAP1 and NRF2.
